Anyone remember to bring the hobnobs?
we're hoping that pk will arrive with a hedge party and boxes of hobnobs. these foreign biscuits are just not the same - all thin and spicy!

anyone want a waffle or some mayo on your chips?

I should have an avatar :) :p

i would imagine that avatars on each post would siginificantly increase the size the site takes up, plus imagine the tights inf two people wanted to have the same one... it would get messy,

the food might not be great over here (and Miss Minies right about the biscuits, p'ah not a custard cream in site) but the beer's not half bad

i like the style shortcuts in the quick reply

note how subtle my sig is.

the first urbanite to use a blinking animated avatar or sig is gonna be sent home straight away. and they can pay for my new reading glasses. probably a new monitor too, after i've thrown a brick through the screen on this one.

in case anyone's interested - this site being a little pre-occupied with styles - here's a link (http://zenlan.com/images/misc/urban75_vb3style_classic_postbit_small.jpg) to a gif of a style i worked out based on the old urban75 theme used for vbulletin2.

it was only the second one i'd tried and i discovered just how much work is involved - especially the testing. not a task to be undertaken lightly! lots of different ways to completely screw up the appearance and functionality of vbulletin.

i played around with a few more styles, but it's difficult to come up with something that looks good. :(

and now i've used up all of my powers of approval for today. didn't count, but i think that was ten. apols to anyone who didn't meet with my approval yet - there's always tomorrow!

i played around with a few more styles, but it's difficult to come up with something that looks good. :(Not a bad start :) altho as I've said to you before, in order to do it you have to force all the users into old, vertically-split mode, or hack vbulletin to make it a user option.

I have all the icons, etc., from old style urban75 thanks to archiving the 2003 Glasto thread in HTML and would be willing to have a go at making a try of a proper scheme, but I suppose that requires access to a test installation of vb :(

Can you get 'evaluation' versions of vB?

edit: ah yes forgot abt the admin demo :) but doing stuff in that's a pain as it's time-limited :(
